We have just had a two day break over Easter in this lovely hotel. From ringing them to book, arrival, stay and departure, we were struck by the friendliness of the staff that we had contact with. We were lucky enough to get a sea view room (N0 2) which was up just one flight of stairs ( be aware they don’t have a lift) which was fine, and they did remind us of stairs when booking. Our room was fresh and spotlessly clean. Perfect little seating area to watch the world go by. A selection of teas/coffee etc to make a drink when needed. Breakfast was really good. Great selection of cereals/ fresh fruit/ yogurt and juices. We had the cooked breakfast . Hot when served, as was the toast ( you don’t always get that in some places we have stayed. The lady that took our breakfast order was super friendly. We would certainly return to this family run hotel, and will be recommending it to family and friends.
This hotel has excellent, friendly staff and a superb cooked breakfast. We loved the location straight across the road from the sea and requested a seaview which wasn't charged as an extra. Parking is on a first come first served basis and we were able to get a space. Slight downside is the hotel is slightly dated but comfortable and clean. No lift. We've stayed here a couple of times and will be back.
Perfect place for a beach front hotel in Aberystwyth. Lovely bay window views from the sea facing bedrooms. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. Convenient for bandstand, pier and cliff railway. Excellent breakfast and tasty evening meals. Some parking is available at the rear of the hotel. Bar with TV adjacent to reception.
Only stayed the night, the room was clean and well appointed, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and was also very good.

Very welcoming , extremely clean room & dining area , comfy bed & absolutely stunning view from the top floor. Breakfast was amazing, delicious with perfect poached eggs. Loads of fruit and juices to choose from .Wonderful staff. Fantastic value for money. We will be back again for sure !
Quaint but comfortable rooms, some with excellent views of the seafront. Not exactly what one would call fully disabled accessible, as there are many stairs and no lift, but it is a great location close to so much of what Aberystwyth has to offer. About a dozen parking spaces to the back of the property. And the cooked to order breakfast is excellent!
Stayed at the Richmond on a stop over coming back from Lytham St Anne's. From the point of entry the property was very clean, nice decor and great staff. A young lady called Awen booked us in, showed us to our room (room 1) gave us plenty of information about the hotel and surrounding area. Room 1 was spotless!!!! Ground floor so eye level view of the sea, great. Bathroom very spacious and a double sized shower.Parking at back of hotel for at least 10 cars with a lovely cared for garden. We ate in the hotel that night and served by Awen and Jane. My wife and I both had the tomato and red pepper soup home made with great bread. This was followed by the lamb shank, cooked to perfection and finished off with home made tiramisu and apple crumble and ice cream. Delicious!!!! Breakfast next day was superb. Help yourself to juices, cereals, yogs etc. proper Welsh breakfast with fried bread Not sure when I last saw fried bread on the plate. I must say, all the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and made our stay a stay to remember. Big thanks to Heledd, a lovely lady on reception. Cannot wait to come back again. Thank you to you all.
What a lovely Hotel. Clean throughout. Comfortable beds. Excellent views from room 3 and 5. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast which was made to order. Awen was very helpful at reception and at the Bar. Highly recommended. Diolch yn fawr iawn!!
Excellent hotel, with a warm welcome from staff. right on the seafront, lovely rooms, comfy bed, superb breakfast. Free parking at rear of hotel or you csn park on the road outside the hotel.
